The Mime Company is a professional ensemble dedicated to the creation and performance of new work in the theatrical art of mime. Born out of Northwestern University’s Theatre Department and the training of renowned acting teacher Bud Beyer, the company has performed its original productions locally and toured both nationally and internationally. The Mime Company has an extensive education program bringing professional performance and workshop experiences in mime to K-20 students, as well as integrating mime and drama with academic curriculum to produce measurable results in the classroom.
